al-Qaida Chief May Be Dead – Or May Not…

A Somali official said that a senior al-Qaida suspect was killed in a U.S. airstrike – maybe.  If the supposed report is not untrue it could possibly not mean the beginning of the end of an eight-year hunt for a top target of Washington 's war on terror.  Right now things remain muddled on this issue. Or do they? No, wait, yes, they do…

A U.S. intelligence official said the U.S. might have killed 5 to 9 people (and then changed his mind and claimed “9 to 5” and then recanted on that number when he realized that 9 to 5 were his working hours…).

The anonymous official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, and claimed “to be more anonymous than official” said a smallish number of others present were wounded… Or killed… Or wounded and killed… Or maybe they weren’t even present.

The report came as U.S. forces apparently (but not reportedly) launched a third day of airstrikes in southern Somalia .  The official said an AC-130 gunship attacked a possibly – and quite probably – suspected al-Qaida training camp. They think… One thing’s for certain it wasn’t an al-Qaida  Rock n’ Roll Camp.

Or was it?

No, that’s just silly.

Also, or at the very least possibly... Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, who possibly and allegedly planned the 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in East Africa, was possibly and allegedly killed in an U.S. airstrike, according to the anonymous ‘intelligence’ official.

"I have received a report from the American side chronicling the targets and list of damage," the official said, “And please, don’t quote me on this, but it looks like Fazul Abdullah Mohammed is dead.  As well we got three of his other buddies.  Here – I brought pictures.”

When it was pointed out that one of his “buddies” was actually a picture of long dead American blues legend Robert Johnson, the official quickly responded, “Great! We’ve been after him for a long time as well.”

While visiting YouTube I was pleasantly surprised to discover that someone has edited my Pucca episode into a 2 minute music video.
