After having witnessed Round One of the debates, (a.k.a.: the "Gang up on Paul Comedy Special") I've decided to beg off of tonight's affair. I told my fellow debaters that an eccentric, ambidextrous, millionaire aunt of mine who suffers from turrets syndrome had unexpectedly flown her private jet into town, hired a limousine to my house where she demanded to be taken to dinner and to Urinetown. A pretty feeble excuse, but of course they all bought it. Those guys are so gullible. Do you know they all actually believe that you folks are buying the hogwash that's coming out of their boar-holes? Sometimes they are so incredibly lame… Oh who am I kidding? They're "always" incredibly lame.

Anyway, I've decided to invite Jim (No Nickname) Harris of The Green Party and Marc-Boris St-Maurice of The Pot Party over tonight. Whether we watch a 3 Stooges Film Festival or the debate is still up for, well, debate. Personally, I think that it's not healthy for Jim to watch the debate. Rumour is that last night the poor guy watched it from a hotel room in Vancouver and spent the two hours frothing at the mouth and screaming and yelling at the TV, accusing the Federal Fab 4 of "directly lifting" policies and promises that have been in the Green platform for more than a year. Yeah, I think a Stooge Festival is just what he needs. Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck! Hopefully Marc-Boris will bring along plenty of his party's party materials. That should help to keep the mood nice and mellow.
