Nice to see that the Marijuana Party finally got
its act together and remembered that there was an election happening and
that they were running in it. Marc-Boris St-Maurice (smoke a joint and
say that five times fast without laughing!), claims, "I don't have
time to smoke pot during this election." Talk about political hypocrisy!
It's just too depressing that the guru of grass can't even do what his
Pot Party and bong loving buds preach. I can only assume that he just
plans on drinking himself senseless like all the other leaders.

I gather that Jesus Layton has "moderated" his bombast about
Kaiser Paul being solely responsible for the death of the homeless. Now
the pious one has broadened his wacky and divine scope, and, in his unique
spirit of shame and blame, he's said that all of Canada is at fault and
responsible. Glad he cleared that up. I'm sure these well-considered remarks
of his will endear all of Canada toward him.
-----
It's good to know that someone loves John Crosbie enough to lock him in
his bedroom until this whole election deal is over.

That
plastic-haired, living-dead, and ultra-conservative robot, Harpo Caesar,
came charging to the defense of Rob Merrifield's completely predictable
remarks advocating counseling for women seeking abortions. Harpo won't
strip his jack-booted crony of his portfolio because he agrees with every
sexist, outdated, and puritanical word his ghoulish buddy said. "Sure,
women, may find it offensive, frightening and disturbing," Harpo
told me. "But once I'm ruling the world, those chicks won't have
to worry their pretty Stepford heads about it, and they can get back to
their three real concerns -- what to make their men for breakfast, lunch
and dinner."
-----
Called Humble Paul and asked him if his fridge was running. He said no,
that the folks from Hydro cut off his power because he hasn't been paying
his bills. Told me it was all his fault, that "the buck stops here"
and that he was going to shoulder the blame. It all sounds very noble,
but I'm not buying any of it.
